Made with care. Taught with purpose. Given freely.

Crklyn Essentials teaches women the craft of making natural skin and body care products — soap, salves, body butters, and more — from the ground up. Those same classes double as production sessions: what participants learn to make, we turn into real products distributed to shelters, partner organizations, and people who need them.

What the program includes

Hands-on classes in natural body care formulation

Guided production sessions turning skill into finished product

Distribution runs to Portland shelters and partner programs

A foundation for participants who want to build their own product line one day

How we do it

Learn the craft in class, then help make and package real batches distributed across Portland

Cost

Completely free to participants

The benefit

A genuine, marketable skill — and the chance to give back to other women through what you make

How to join a program

Our classes are kept intentionally small, so filling out this form does not guarantee a slot in the cohort. Here is what happens after you send it.

1. Send the form

Tell us which program you're interested in and a little about where you're starting from.

2. A brief interview

We'll contact you to set up a short conversation about your needs and interests, tell you about the program, and answer your questions.

3. Within 7 business days

You'll be notified whether you've been selected to join the cohort.

4. If not selected

You'll be placed on the waitlist and guaranteed a slot in the following open cohort.
